Life has been a challenging the last year or so. I don't want to air details because what I am dealing with is no worse than what many, many people are dealing with. Glad to have my sons with me and to have a job and a roof over our heads. I will say it has put some things in perspective for me.

White House spokesman Robert Gibbs had attempted to play down the importance of the primaries, which select each party's candidate for November, saying Obama had followed those races "not that closely" despite helping both campaigns. Many in the mainstream press had played up the races, especially in Arkansas and Pennsylvania, as a real test of how influential President Obama and the tea parties really are. President Obama did not stump for Sen. Specter.I'd wondered about that. I figure Obama struck some deal with him when he switched parties. I think everyone's happy Sestak won. |
