Last night I was stuck, have been for a few days, so I dumped the whole damn thing. Started over, same plot, same characters but softened the main character
considerably. It's working! Was able to salvage much of what I'd written. FAR better now.

I gave you a kudo too. I've scrapped enough stuff to fill a book about the size of War and Peace. Usually, it's because I'm not able to describe a
sound or a visual (or if I'm able to describe it it screws up the flow of the piece) so I had this idea. If I write an online novel I can link to sounds,
visuals etc.
But not link so much that it takes out all the imagination used to read a book. I suppose I'll start right away. Just after I learn Japanese and master my guitar. Not to mention construction of the treehouse. |
